Teacher Profiles

Dear Education Students and Alumni:

The Rockland Graduate Campus of Long Island University is pleased to offer a special career service for our students seeking positions as teachers. Teacher Profiles: Your Resume Resource is a twice yearly professional publication sent to all school districts in Rockland, Orange and Bergen counties featuring the resumes of all Rockland Graduate Campus alumni and students who have received teaching certification and are eligible for employment in public or private education.

This publication offers networking opportunities for our students and provides school districts with updated candidate credentials as they look to future staffing needs and, as importantly, when positions sporadically become available as leave replacements.

To be eligible for resume inclusion, you must hold a degree from the Rockland Graduate Campus or be a Rockland graduate student, matriculated in good standing in the Special Education & Literacy, Curriculum and Instruction or Adolescense programs. Additionally, you must be state certified.  Your complete resume should be submitted to the Advisement Office where it will be professionally printed, collated and bound.

We are proud of the quality education provided at the Rockland Graduate Campus of Long Island University; this service will further enable us to promote your candidacy and assist you with your career pursuits.

Sincerely,

Elaine Geller
